Waterfall Rafting Center

Amazing stay at Waterfall Rafting Centre. Staff are friendly and super helpful. The setting is beautiful and the food is home cooked and delicious. Rafting is fun and the canyoning was a holiday highlight. We stayed in one of the newer / bigger family chalets which was very comfortable. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Loved the location, stunning scenery, dramatic canyon and fast flowing Piva River feeling at one with nature. Liked the fire pit too. The staff are all very friendly and work very hard as they are running the rafting adventure too which was fantastic.

Unique setting in the nature. Very nice chalets with own bathroom. Good and big meals for lunch and dinner. Kind employees.

We lived in a "two-bedroom chalet", it was nice and cosy with wooden nature design, but it is not really two bedrooms as no doors between the rooms: one room is the living room which you enter through the front door, and the other room is just up the stairs. Another thing is, that we missed being able to take a dip or a swim in the Piva River, this is not possible because the stream is too strong, and we were not aware of that when we booked. Nearest swimming possibility is Piva Lake 20 km away. Third thing is that we were a bit disappointed that there was no social interaction between different groups of guests and employees in the evenings around the fireplace, from the description we expected that to be part of the stay.

The surroundings are just incredible and the staff couldn't do more for you.

Very minor as we love this place and know there isn't much which can be done however the bathrooms are a little difficult to use, especially when the power is off (run on renewable energy)
