DEAlthough Caravan Park inspires a different idea in Australia as to what we were met with in Portugal, a little more research on our behalf could have prepared us better for our expectations to be met. This is primarily a residential caravan park more than camping/holiday. We were met by a lovely host Anabela who was more than happy to use Google Translate to walk us through the check-in process and receiving our security passes, as well as finding the bungalow nestled in between the many small streets of the park. The house itself was lovely, matched the pictures exactly and even included some basic kitchen items.
You definitely need a car to come here, but there are plenty of parking spaces a short walk from the bungalow. You need a pass to access the swimming pool but unfortunately, it was closed for training on the two nights we were there, the outside swimming pool looks nice too though!
