We had a private double room in the private lodge. Be aware that you should pass through a dorm to access to your room (but well mentioned at the booking). The kitchen is well equipped but could be refreshed and cleaned as everything is quite old and worned. Perfect location for the water taxi to go to Abel Tasman. We can go by foot to join the water taxi office.

The room is very small (but you can not complain for the cheap price). However, there is a huge couch that could be removed to gain some space. There is only two toilets that are in the room of the shower... Not practical when you share the lodge with two dorms of 8 people in each dorm. We do not have problem in November as the dorms were not fully booked.

The location is really good, we had a cabin, everything was clean, washing powder and clothes pegs are provided, and there are two hotplates in the cabin (although they take a very long time to heat up).

The campsite was packed, and there were only six showers and six toilets in total (for both men and women) – that's a bit too few for a site that is small but fully occupied... The Wi-Fi was a bit slow.

La chambre double est mal placé. Il faut traversé les dortoirs de backpacker pour pouvoir y accéder et c'est mal isolé.
