Backpackers lodge was very comfortable, clean, and cozy. It has its own facilities away from the communal holiday camp, thus it feels like your own space.

Great location, friendly staff

It was very cheap basic accommodation although a upgraded cabin for a small extra price, I was surprized to have so many things like a fridge, toaster, 2 element cooker, jug and a full sized kitchen bench with big cupboards water taps and cookware plus pillows, sheets, blankets and towels were supplied and was not far to walk to the other amenities. I have paid a lot more elsewhere that have not much at all. this cabin had plenty of space and seats.

Sadly, it rained and the tide was out when I was awake, so nothing to do with the camp.

Great location for able tasman walk

Great location ,if you want to walk the Able Tasman track. We walked part of it and took the water taxi back. It's just such a stunning part of our country. We traveled by motorbike and therefore it was importuned for us that everything was provided. We ask for towels and the friendly stuff provided towels straight away ,with no extra costs. We absolutely enjoyed our two day stay.
