Caplor Glamping & Lodges

What a fabulous place! The lodges and pods were phenomenally well equipped, immaculately clean and all round just great. Loved the pre-heat service on the hot tub which meant it was ready to use as soon as we got there. Beautiful views too. Went for a walk up to the hillfort. (Which was an unexpected treat.) behind the site before we left- amazing views . Plenty of parking Communication was second to none.

I genuinely think the only thing we were missing was a serving spoon! What a great place,!

Stay started on a positive note but ended rather badly. Woke up to no running water in the pod. After a few calls and texts, we were informed that could be because of frozen pipes. Fine. We understand that’s it’s cold but surely a bottle of water could be arranged considering the pods are on a working farm. No apologies were made and we were told a bottle of water can be arranged when the shops open. Thanks but no thanks. We packed our bags and left we can’t stick around waiting for a bottle of water to appear at some point.

So much space in the lodge and even though it was -5 we were very toasty and even sweating in the hot tub.

Fantastic location and everything you need and more provided in the lodge. I could stay there all year!
