Lower Hyde Caravan

Lovely property, great atmosphere and location. Everything you could need provided. Real home away from home. It was an excellent first experience of caravan holidays. We have been converted.

Only issue that came up was the shower temperature control because of the design, not the host’s fault.

Location excellent - handy for both town (railway station five minutes away) and countryside (Red Squirrel Trail passes site entrance). Caravan spacious and generally comfortable (exceptions listed below).

Twin beds rather short (son had to sleep across both) - some slats broken. Problems with condensation on windows. Limited availability of indoor swimming pool (outdoor pool closed).

Caravan is very nice and spacious, comfy bed and nice hot shower, nice position on the park in a little sun trap, plenty of on site but facilitiesdidn't use them

caravan was excellent, very clean with the bonus of 2 showers and 2 toilets, easy walking distance of shanklin, and close to local shops, host was very helpful and answered any queries very quickly, she was perfect host

would have liked outdoor pool to have been open as it was onlly the start os september

It was difficult to work out the heating
