Verde Ranch RV Resort

We stayed in one of the tiny homes and loved it. The property was nice and clean. It was great to have access to the pool as well.

At night the noise from the nearby highway was noticeable when we had the windows open. Wasn’t too big of a deal though.

We stayed in the Wagons and they were so cute and comfortable! Plenty of space and a great bathroom at the back. We enjoyed using the pool and hot tub!! Definitely a bonus after all the hiking! Staff were very friendly and helpful!

It was a little too far from Sedona, at least 30-35 mins drive per day!

Pool and clubhouse were nice. We stayed in a wagon, which was a great choice with kids. All the little details inside the wagon were appreciated. For example, outlets by each bed, lights and light switches from bed, heat/cooling with remote, tables and shelves for storage.

The office/store closed at 5pm, which meant we had to drive to town to get shampoo. We needed shampoo and soap because we got one little tube (enough for 1 shower) for 4 days - so don't expect toiletries included in the cabins/wagons because they really don't count. Highway noise was really bad if you're a light sleeper. This is not a very beautiful campground with rows and rows of RVs and nothing very scenic.

We stayed for 10 days, they gave us 4 towels for 4 people. I asked if we could get new towels after day 3, they said I was expected to do my own laundry. I had to go and buy towels at the local Walmart 20 mins away because we had too much going on during the vacation for me to do laundry (in my hard earned vacation. Not to mention you’re expected to have your own pool towels also, so yeah, use your bath towel at the pool and after you shower for 19 days or buy your own towels or do laundry. Here’s the best part- finally caved and went to their laundry mat at night after getting the kids settled in, they require you to download an app (it took me the 5 days to get the WiFi code because they don’t give it to you on checkin paperwork- you have the call the office for it when they’re open -ps) anyway, downloaded the app, told I could also purchase a card to load money onto for 5 bucks, (the 5 is just for the card- to do one load of 2.99 wash /2.75 dry laundry. So I download the app, to find that after giving them every piece of information I had, 20 minutes later , that I now have to select from their large sums of money how much I would like to put on my new account / app .. 15 dollars was the smallest amount. To do one load of laundry to wash the 4 towels because they wouldn’t give me any more for a 10 day stay!!! That cost me over 1800 BTW. So I spend 1800, and I get 4 towels, 3 coffee pods and a big rip off and a chore sentence. No thanks. I’ll book a hotel next time.

Extremely clean and comfortable beds!

The highway noise is constant. Get ear plugs!

The wagon we stayed on was really cute. I loved how it looked on the inside and it made me feel like we're staying in the old west. The bed was comfortable, and it was spacious enough for 2 people. I would definitely stay again.

The only thing I did not like but was prepared for was the bathroom. Had to go outside every time I had to use the bathroom, not horrible just a little inconvenient. Would be awesome if we had a small microwave to warm up food.

Lots of things to do! They obviously work hard at providing several entertainment options for the guests, daily and seasonal, and I appreciate that very much. Everything was well maintained and clean. Every encounter with the staff was pleasant. My family felt welcomed and had a great time!

We especially liked the cleanliness of everything all around. The facilities, the clubhouse, and the property. My family enjoyed our stay in the covered wagon. The facilities were all family friendly. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is also great because it is near the I-17, a few places to eat, cliff castle, Jerome, Sedona. It's a great place to stay to escape the phx heat. We look forward to returning soon.

On our last night, we planned on making smores out at the community firepit and to our surprise, someone had taken the firepit away from there. I imagine they carried it to their campsite. That was disappointing to my 5 yr old.
