Rosie's Seton Retreat

We had such a wonderful stay at this caravan! It’s in a gorgeous spot and the location couldn’t be better – so peaceful, yet just a short distance from Edinburgh. The caravan itself was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed to feel completely at home. We felt so relaxed throughout our stay and really appreciated all the thoughtful little touches that made it extra special. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to return!

There honestly wasn’t anything negative about our stay – everything was just perfect.

Quiet location but easy access to facilities on site and the beach. Great bus service directly into Edinburgh. Train at Prestonpans a quicker journey if you want to do that. Caravan very comfortable although space in bedrooms very restricted. Everything provided for drinks except milk but there was oil for cooking, just needed to replace loo roll. Loads of toiletries in the shower!

No grab rail in the shower. You'd need to have collapsible cases and stow them under beds if there were six of you in residence. No drawers for underwear, most clothes would have to be hung in wardrobes. Having two loos was great.

We waren aangenaam verrast; de caravan voldeed volledig aan onze verwachtingen. Er is voldoende ruimte en faciliteiten voor het hele gezin (2 volwassenen en 4 kinderen). De televisie met diverse streamingdiensten was ideaal voor onze kinderen. Daarnaast was er een ruime keuze aan dvd’s en muziek-cd’s aanwezig. De caravan en het park vormen een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Edinburgh, met een bushalte direct voor de ingang van het park. Hier hebben we veel gebruik van gemaakt, terwijl we de auto gebruikten voor uitstapjes die verder weg lagen. Voor de dagelijkse boodschappen zit er ook een Lidl in de buurt, wat heel praktisch was. Op het park zelf kun je bovendien genieten van lekkere fish and chips. De gamehall was voor onze kinderen ook geweldig en hier hebben we ook wat avondjes doorgebracht.

Wat ons tegenviel, was dat er geen koffiezetapparaat aanwezig was om zelf een kopje koffie te zetten. Dit zou de caravan nog wat comfortabeler maken.

It was beautiful inside very homely, plenty of room, warm. Just a home from home.

The only complaint which is more a niggle is there isn't a lot of cupboard space in the kitchen.

The caravan was excellent very clean and comfortable 👌 only missing a toaster, grill takes to long for toast lol but that's not a big issue .

Restaurant was good for meals, staff was very helpful .

Park is located in a quiet village near Edinburgh. There is a shop, bar, swimming pool and bus stop nearby. The house was very comfortable, well-equipped. The area is green, quiet.
