We arrived as agreed at the check-in on time. The purpose of our one-night stay was to take a break while driving from Genoa to Rome with my wife and our 4-year-old daughter. When we arrived, one of the guests showed us the place, and the air conditioning was broken. As a result, the host gave us another bungalow, actually a container, that was stinky and lacked a bedroom for our daughter, offering only a couch. I met one of the hosts and expressed that this place was unacceptable, especially with a child. I mentioned that we would take a shower and leave. I even asked for soap to use, and the host suggested we buy it ourselves. When we were leaving, the host claimed it was our fault because we should have asked for another replacement instead of leaving. This statement angered me because I had already expressed our concerns directly to one of the hosts, yet there was no help, care, or empathy. As a result, I paid €140 for a shower, had to purchase soap, and had to drive for three hours during the night because we had no other place to stay. No refund as and the host's behavior were unacceptable.
