The Hawthorne

The location was beautiful and easily accessible by public transport. Facilities are good. Had a shared kitchen to warm the food.

Host was great, our apartment was newly refurbished , clean and comfy.

Lovely place, Martin was a lovely host, there whenever we needed him. Comfortable room, Big space and good facilities with a fridge etc.

Only thing is a bit of a noisy road

What an excellent location. Nestled into this area of Oldham. A little nugget of countryside. The room was exceptionally clean. The towels wonderfully soft. The bed. Really comfortable. The facilities. There were washing machines available and a kitchen. I could move in. It was that good. Martin is an amazing person. He gave me a great welcome. Checked I had everything I needed. A salt of the earth person. I will be back in the future.

Very welcoming staff, safe off road parking. Very conveinient location for Whit Friday Marches. Room vety clean, comfortable and warm.

Great location for visiting family in adjacent Ashton-u-Lyne. Comfortable room with everything we needed, Martin met us on arrival and helped us carry our bags in, and couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. Will definitely stay again next time we are up there. There is a full kitchen which we weren't expecting or prepared for, so a bonus but bring your own kit if you want to use it. Hartshead Inn is an excellent dinner spot with extensive NGCI menu. Heroes of Waterloo Pub also has NGCI menu but very large portions - we were too full for dessert!

Road is quite busy. we had a front-facing room - I live on a busier road so it didn't bother me but my mum lives on a quiet road and did notice - if you think this will be a problem ask for a room at the back.

Thought it was a pub with associated facilities when booking. Pub is now closed. No breakfast available nearby had to drive to find somewhere- coffee tea and kettle available but no milk in the room
