Yatsugatake Little Village Hotel

Quiant wooden house which allows bonfires till 10pm. The coffee mill and beans provided for breakfast.

Cold during winter. Gas heater could not be on continuously. You had to wait an hour bfr switching it back on after it stops for Safety.. The other electrical heater was not as efficient. 4 of us had to sleep in the loft (ours was nonezumi house) and bring the sofa bed futon up from the floor below. Otherwise the 4th person would have to sleep downstairs without any heating. We had to bring the electrical heater up to the loft so we could keep warm while sleeping. Toilet was clean and modern but there is no space to put your stuff and no hooks to hang anything. Not a big deal but u just need to find a way to place your clothes, perhaps in the basket of amenities provided. :) Overall still an interesting experience!

Extremely good vibe, very quiet neighborhood, feels like your soul is cleanse of worry when you stay there.

The location is hard to access if you don’t rent a car but if you do then this isn’t a problem.

This is my second stay at the Little Village Hotel. Everything was as good as the first time. Spent a nice comfortable night there away from busy city life. Visit the farm and nature nearby, support the local business. :)

It’s very clean, new and comfortable. Hara is quiet small village, very relaxing.

The house is very small and quite pricey.

A great garden cafe just at the back of the hotel.

The ladder up to the bed area might be an obstacle for others. But it’s fine for us.

The place was clean, near to our ski resort. Cozy little hut with warmer and a parking right in front of your stay. Have come cooking tools to cook while there are not much restaurant there.

The stair case is very steep to climb. A little stuffy at the mezzanine floor, have to open up the window during winter.

Very comfortable stay. It's summer time but the weather is cooling and a small fan is provided. Very nice and quiet night to spend with your family, friends or yourself. Most importantly, the host is very accommodating and tried her best to make conversation with us or even recommend places for us to visit.
