Rice straw Green lodge- resort

Die Lage zum Nationalpark ist sehr gut, die Zimmer sind einfach aber bieten alles. Moskito Netze sind intakt und in gutem Zustand. Am besten ist Dug, der Hotelmanager. Charmant, extrem hilfsbereit, kommunikativ. Das Resort ist ideal, auch für einen Kurztrip zum Nationalpark.

Dug hält den Betrieb zusammen, eine Putzkraft, die am einen oder anderen Ort nachwischt, würde das Erlebnis perfektionieren.

Personeel is enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ze denken graag met je mee en helpen je bij veel dingen. Ze zijn super aardig en dit was dan ook een absolute highlight van ons verblijf. De locatie is verder ook heel goed: dichtbij de boot die de oversteek maakt naar het national park. Eten was betaalbaar en lekker en ze hadden veel bij de receptie (ook hoedjes, sjaals, grote flessen water etc.) Prima airco, ventilator en klamboe dus tegen muggen goede bescherming.

De douche is niet heel warm en heeft ook geen harde straal. Op het bed lag geen laken, alleen een deken waar wel een paar vlekken inzaten. Verder was het redelijk schoon, maar er hing bijvoorbeeld nog veel stof in de gordijnen en spinnenwebben. Niet super erg, maar had wel iets beter gekund

The lodge is in a wonderful location close to the Cat Tien National Park, surrounded by nature - you will fall asleep to the sounds of birds, insects, geckos and gibbons. The young man looking after us called Duck was so kind and gave us advice for how to navigate the national park without a tour guide and also helped us book a taxi to our next destination 4 hours away (which was too awkward with buses). They provide free breakfast and the dinner menu is affordable, we were very happy just chilling in the lodge after the craziness of HCMC 😊

We enjoyed the stay very much - but if you are scared of insects etc, and if you need hot water, it would not be for you as the facilities are basic but it’s all part of the adventure.

This was such a lovely place to stay at. The owner is the warmest host. He immediately makes you a part of his family and goes out of his way to help you. The stay was also very comfortable and the facilities were clean. The owner also kindly invited us to a family dinner which made us feel very welcome. They ensure that you're well fed and always stocked up with fruits. They also help you with any tour bookings inside the park. The national park gate is a 10 min walk from here. Please remember that this is near a forest so you will have frogs and lizards entering the room. I love this because it's an essential part of ecotourism. If you can't tolerate this then you should find something more luxurious.

I don't have much to complain about really. Everything was great. However, one little thing that made me a bit impatient at times was the communication gap. You have to keep communicating with the owners using Google Translate. This is OK but requires some patience that I lack.

Der Besitzer ist super nett und hat für uns alle Ausflüge in den Nationalpark organisiert, wir mussten uns um nichts kümmern und es war super. Man bekam zu jeder Zeit etwas zu Essen und wir haben Hilfe bei der Organisation des Transfers erhalten.

Die Bilder täuschen leider etwas. Das Gewässer zwischen dem Haupthaus und den Bungalows ist voller Müll und riecht sehr streng. Von unserem Balkon konnten wir jedes Mal sehen, wie aus dem Nachbarhaus Küchenabfälle dort hineingeworfen wurden. An unserem ersten Abend fand auf der Terrasse eine private Feier statt, die in ein absolutes Saufgelage mit schallendem Karaoke bis 3 Uhr morgens mündete. Wir haben kaum geschlafen. Am 2. Tag versammelten sich Nachmittags ein paar Einheimische auf der Terrasse, betranken sich und wollten meinen Mann im Beisein unserer Tochter mit einer einheimischen Frau verkuppeln. Wir sind dann in ein benachbartes Café geflüchtet. Für Familien würde ich die Unterkunft daher nicht weiterempfehlen.

L'host Duc meriterebbe 10, è gentilissimo e sempre sorridente. Ci ha aiutato a organizzare il trekking nel parco e a prenotare l'autobus. Peccato per la pulizia e la manutenzione generale dei bungalow e delle zone comuni, che abbassano notevolmente il nostro voto. Il cibo è buono.

Pulizia molto bassa, sia nel bungalow che nelle zone comuni. Suggeriamo all'host di migliorare questo aspetto.

The staff are amazing! So friendly and helpful. They helped us arrange tours, buses, anything we needed. Food was very affordable on site and good AC!

It’s definitely a more budget place with some more tired features and the weekend got a little noisy (karaoke outside our room), but it really was nice stay.
