Kohmook Happy time Bungalow

We really enjoyed our time here in the superior bungalow, with beautiful view of the mangroves and partial sea view. Staff super friendly, quiet street, clean, and nice details like coffee and vanity area. Everything was great!

Super welcoming staff who make you feel right at home. Bungalows basic but very clean. Sounds of the jungle all around, lovely to listen to in the evening from room terrace. Easy walking distance to restaurants and shops.

Really nice bungalows in a great location. The family were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We enjoyed our surprise treats in the afternoon. Would definitely return.

I liked the most that it was very authentic, meaning it is in the local style and it is ran by one family. The facilities were good: clean and comfortable.

Did not have a duvet the first night but it was quickly brought to me in the morning. :) Apparently a thing in the region that people sleep with only a blanket.

Super nice family run small local business. Nice and fresh and very friendly owners who always asked if we needed any help whatsoever.

The bungalow was large and clean, located within walking distance to one of the beaches and the restaurants in the town. Overall a simple and nice place to stay on Koh Mook.

The shower seemed to drain directly into the soil underneath the bungalow, without any sort of plumbing. All the lights in the bungalow flickered when we showered. There was no bedsheet to cover ourselves with when sleeping, but the staff quickly brought one over when requested. Overall small issues that can be fixed easily.

Happy Time Bungalows is value for money. Facilities are good for the price paid. They are very friendly. Helpful at all times. We really enjoyed our stay. Rented scooters for baht200 for 24 hours. Good way to get around the island. Massages on the island was good. We visited Emerald cave. Worth a visit

The place is very well located and it’s very nice to get the sea breeze air from the little terrace. Next to it is a lovely restaurant run by the daughter of the owners that we loved and where we were having dinner every evening and that we highly recommend. We had our own fridge and we were given bottles of water every day. The owners were very kind, sweet and attentive. We also asked for some extra features like a reading lamp and a bed sheet and they provided them for us.

The rooms are basic decorated but as pictures in the photos. The only thing what we didn’t like was a strong chemical smell that we were unable to identify where it came from but it was coming and going for our entire stay. It was in the room and smelled it all the time when entering. (So not coming from outside)
