Bungalowene ligger tett inn til hverandre, lite privat.. Jeg leste «privat strand» på deres side, det er egentlig en ck 8-10 mangrove strand som er ikke egnet for bading… det var misvisende for meg.. Jeg hadde en veldig dårlig opplevelse med veggdyr i seng. Jeg leste nå (litt sent dessverre) at andre klaget på det tidligere( i fjor) også. Så tydeligvis de har ikke gjort noe med problemet siden det.. Bytene er veldig store, røde, irriterende og klør, måtte hos lege og fikk antibiotika og antihistamin.. resten av ferien min ble ødelagt, siden etter legens anbefaling jeg kan ikke bade, være på sol, få massage.. ikke alle får sånn allergisk reaksjon på bytene, men en vet ikke før «testing».. Vår rom var nr 2.

The room was big and clean, in a quiet location close to the restaurants, a nice terrace to relax, the owners are very kind.

The owners were very friendly and we got a welcome drink on arrival. Bottled water was provided and there was a fridge in the room. The bungalow had a decent sized terrace. The owner helped us with our early scooter return when we left the island early.

This is the hardest review I’ve had to write. We were booked for 6 nights and only stayed for 2 and left the island. It turned out to be a very expensive stay even though the nightly rate was reasonable as we paid for 6 and used 2. We have stayed all over Thailand and we are not picky but found that this island has the biggest dog and litter problem that we have experienced. We saw two dogs on the first day with horrendous wounds on their necks and there isn’t a vet or any apparent animal control on the island. Tough to see as log lovers and nothing we could do to help. The two nights we slept there our sleep was interrupted throughout the night by the packs of dogs fighting outside our bungalow. My wife’s shoes were taken by the dogs from our terrace steps on the first night(it would be useful to warn guests to keep shoes out of reach). The room was fairly dirty(layers of lizard poo on the plug sockets and flat surfaces in the bathroom) although the room & linen smelled nice. I appreciate that living in nature involves wildlife in the room but cleaning between guests could be better. I am sad to leave a negative review when the dog problem is not the accommodation’s fault but couldn’t say nothing when we effectively lost £150 leaving early. I think that tourism on the island has grown too quickly and steps should be taken to solve the dog and litter problem as tourism adds to the issue.
