The area was beautiful, the people friendly and helpful.

I would recommend stocking up on supplies in the local supermarkets. This is not about the accommodation. The local area has great food but it's not always open.

"Would you stay in a barrel shaped room?"

Arrived to find our barrel accommodation for the night. It was this cute, roomy barrel shaped tunnel of a room with 2 single beds. Plenty of outside seating was available in the shade so we were very happy having cycled there. Immediately, I learned that the to-be generous owner spoke Spanish at about my level. Neither of us was fluent in the other's primary languages so we carried on throughout our stay in Spanish. He was helpful and generous throughout and made sure we were comfortable and had whatever we required. In the night, the tunnel shape of the building allowed a cooling flow of air and made it the best sleep night on our 3 week trip. Thanks
