Ecofinca Salento

I'm so glad I chose this hostel! It's a short 10min walk to the main square, but it's located on the edge of town, surrounded by forest and cow fields. It's a wonderful and peaceful location! I LOVED the common area with the hammocks. The lady who runs the place doesn't speak English, but makes a real effort to speak slowly to help you understand her. Breakfast was basic, but enough for me. I appreciated receiving a clean towel (not always included in dorm rooms). There's a common kitchen which is very clean and well-equipped. I went horseback riding with Diego (+573105224141, he speaks English) who has a stable nearby. It was the highlight of my stay in Salento and I highly recommend him!

There are no lockers for valuables.

10min walk awy from the centre with no mire car noise, beautiful scenic views and super kind hosts, recommend if you want a place where you can also chill/plan/read, also wifi works great.

I loved the finca, it's surroundings and that everything has clearly been made with love. Would totally recommend staying there for everybody that likes peaceful surroundings only ten minutes from city center. I planned to stay for one night and ended up three. Staff war so nice and the view spectacular.

Mattresses were not that comfy but as I chose to stay in a tent it is totally ok considering the camping style. I am always a hungry person and breakfast was a little small for me though totally delicious.
