Altenbrauch Farm - Camping in the Hocking Hills

This is our third year camping here and it's even better than before. My wife and I love it here. It's so quiet and peaceful. The scenery is beautiful. We love the large campsites and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't fully booked over the holiday weekend. They now have a shower and spigot by the bathroom. We'll definitely be back in the future.

Secluded and a place our German shepherd was welcomed. But by the third day our camp was totally infested with fleas and another kind of parasite. Our dog has been fighting for her life ever since. We had to bomb our tent and truck four times for the remainder of our stay. We had to throw away so much and our tent and belongings were ruined. The truck has never been the same and now thousands of dollars in vet bills we're going to have to put my service dog down. This is the most painful thing I've ever had to do. So no this was a horrible experience that has continued to haunt us and still no one to call. Heartbroken and completely devastated

The place is perfect for primitive camping. I liked that they had a sun shower and porta-potty available. And the various camping equipment that visitors can use for free and bring it back for others to use. Much like a community where we all help each other out if needed.

Very clean and quiet location to set up a tent! Will definitely be back soon!

It was out in the middle of no where.

The tent we had to set up had a rip in the bottom side of it and was missing 2 different tent poles that went to our tent we rented.
