Longford Riverside Caravan Park

Great location

Pretty countryside

We had a wonderful roomy caravan on the river with a covered outdoor sitting area. It was within walking distance of groceries & restaurants. There were children’s playgrounds nearby also. The staff was great. Everything was. We arrived late but clear after hour instructions to enter the park & access our caravan were sent to us ahead of time.

The bed was very hard the mattress was terrible. Not all the lighting worked.

The location was good it was nice and quiet

I loved the relaxing peaceful atmosphere of the park, location of van and view of river and cleanliness of area and friendly helpful staff

Honestly nothing

Location, cuteness of staying in an onsite caravan, super friendly booking process.

Considering people choose to stay in the vans because they are touring around, and all other types of accommodation have hair dryers, a hair dryer was expected. I asked at reception and was told none were available to borrow. Instructions on how to use the gas oven would have been useful. We couldn't make it work. And a box of tissues would have been good. Just a few little things including shampoo, soap and conditions) that would have made all the difference and make it more equivalent to staying in a cabin at other caravan parks. Also,, while there was dish liquid and a tea towel there was no chux to use when washing dishes. You don't know until you get there that they don't provide the normal little things you would find in other accommodations. Although they did provide milk, tea and coffee.
