Ye Old Tack Room - Spring Paddock

Lovely surroundings. Made to feel very welcome.

You needed a car to get to other facilities.

Beautifully presented with very welcoming touches such as water, coffee, milk etc… Hosts were very accommodating for late arrival.

I feel that the bed mattress could be upgraded. It dips in the middle and doesn’t make for the best nights sleep.

Location is very convenient for travel by M6. I got a warm welcome and shown round to my accommodation. The living /cooking area was very clean and tidy and nicely decorated. Off street secure parking very convenient and reassuring.

Shower cubicle was quite small but shower worked very well

The Tack Room is small but beautifully thought out and very well appointed. It's very clean and comfortable and the fittings are of high quality. It's an absolutely brilliant place to stay for someone like myself who is working in the area with an early start. Thoroughly recommended.

Bed was a little firm for my tastes, but that is a personal thing.

Very small item that needs addressing is the mattress on the bed. It dips in the middle so we kept rolling into the centre. Wasn't the best sleep because of this. Possibly time to replace this mattress?

Perfect little place for a getaway

A central location that was very convenient for us to visit family in Wolverhampton, Stafford, Stoke and Sheffield. The setting was beautiful with lovely countryside views.

Nothing to improve. All perfect.

Peaceful location Friendly owners Close to Stafford and Cannock but feels very peaceful and rural to return to.
