Very cozy atmosphere, nice and helpful staff, clean toilets/bathroom areas and many quiet places to chill.

This is a little oasis of calm in a pretty village a short bus ride from the busy city centre. It's a great place to connect with nature.

Communication with staff is mixed with some a lot more helpful than others. Just don't ask for any help booking a taxi! I appreciated the supply of biodegradable cleaning products in the showers and kitchen but these were not kept topped up which meant it was difficult to maintain the ethos of not polluting the land.

The Eco-Camping de Helleborus is a magical place in a lovely area just outside Groningen. The staff are wonderful, the facilities are great, and I loved the outdoor kitchen and fire pit! The different accommodations are so unique!

I stayed in the house, and it definitely needs a thorough deep cleaning, as the downstairs common area was not very clean. I had a lovely stay though and would return and book a different accommodation there!

Excellent campsite, connected with nature, we enjoyed everything pretty much and would definitely choose this accomodation again in the future.

The hospitality and the location

They don't offer too many activities inside the hostel, so that's not okay for solo travellers who wants to make friends
