Meadowbeck - Shepherd Huts

Very beautiful place beautiful views.

Cosy and romantic.

Secluded away in the quiet countryside, immersed in nature. Hosts really informative and friendly - greeted us on arrival, it had most things we needed and was clean and cosy. Lovely wood burner which we used both evenings

Cooker was small and tricky to use- couldn’t work out how we could have rings and oven on at same time. Can only really cook basic things that don’t require much space as cooking, washing and prep area very tight. More storage shelves near bed would be helpful.

Lovely place to stay. Lisa ans graham where very welcoming. Definitely recomend. Perfect location for exploring.

This was our first stay in a Shepards hut , it was well equipped and warm and toasty inside , not at all what we expected , but much better , we will book again for certain.

Lovely quiet little hide away. Even during a wet and windy night the hut was cozy and warm. The woodburner was easy to light and kept the hut toasty.

Wife not too enamoured of having to go out to go to the loo at night! My bad as I hadn't realised the toilet/ shower was around the back.!

The hosts were really friendly and the setup was really cosy. Great atmosphere in a lovely location. Very easy to get to Whitby and Robin Hood's Bay from there too.

Nothing we loved it, and the scratching barn.

It was beautiful and the owners were fantastic... thoroughly recommend it
