Soba Konak 2

Beds were super comfy! Bathroom was tiny but modern and very clean. Our bedroom had lots of storage so was nice to fully unpack our bags for a few days. Our host was also very friendly even though we both struggled with the language barrier and we really enjoyed meeting and running into him. Location also couldn't be better- in the middle of Jajce and even though bars were loud in the evening, it was never loud enough to keep us up.

Shared kitchen had plenty of plates and cutlery but was also just the basic stuff. Definitely enough to cook with though.

room not as advised in the description. Bathroom and Kitchen is shared with other guests. This need to be advised in the description because it was the reason of our booking; Check in process was compared to other hosts in Bosnia really complicated: First of all we do not get any Check in instructions beforehand. When we were at the Appartment, no one was there so we had to go in a bar with WiFi so we can write the host a message in booking. After that it took over an hour the host appeared with the key. There where other guests waiting outside the Appartment. After showing the rooms it took another half hour because the Host had to write down every information of every single Passport. Overall we where asked which Route of our travel we took which border of bosnia we entered, where we leave ans which Car we Drive (never Happend before in my Life at a private booking all over the world). Host also seemed to us a bit harsh, but maybe it was cause of difficult communication due the reason the Host speaks only bks. Overall worst experience with a host ar hour lovley and heartfull at Bosnia Terrace was very small and dirty

Kitchen and bathroom are shared. There were no other gyests so it waa fine. Kitchen is a bit meagre in teem of equipmenrs (no water cooker, no micriwave, just 2 pans). Noisy mosque nearby, waking you at 5 am.

The location of this place is great!

For starters, check in was really difficult. It took over an hour and I just had to sit in my car and wait for the host's son-in-law to come let me in... despite letting the host know more than 2 hours in advance the time of my arrival. The communication was absolutely terrible. To be fair, his son-in-law was so kind and tried to be as helpful as he could with this process! When it comes to parking, theres not enough spaces. Because there were already two guests parked, the "third" space was just barely possible and my car got scratched in the process. There is really only space for 2 cars to get in and out of there. Thirdly, the first thing had to do after getting the keys was remove two large bugs from my bedroom and bathroom. This type of stuff doesn't bother me so much, but c'mon, a simple check before you have someone stay. Lastly and most unfortunately, I scheduled check out for 8am (yes, you have to schedule a check out and wait for them to come get the keys). While I was packing, the owner just walked into my room... and I was not fully dressed!!! Didnt just wait downstairs for me to bring the keys, just walked right into my bedroom. Its not like i was late with the scheduled checkout, this was before 8!! This was honestly, the last straw for me. I left immediately as I was extremely uncomfortable. I sent a text letting him know the keys were on the table by the door. No response, not even an apology! This was by far the most expensive place I've stayed on my trip here, this includes larger cities in Bosnia (Banja Luka and Sarajevo) and I think if you want to price this place that high, the service has to be incredible, because the place itself is not that nice.
