Really beautiful villa in a nice holiday home area at a 100 m distance from amazing Itamambuca beach. It was a great break from sleeping in dorms. My only negative point would be that the mattress was quite hard.

"Beautiful, restorative stay"

We had such a peaceful and relaxing week at Casa Viva - the atmosphere and surroundings are so tranquil, calming and comfortable. The location is also fantastic - only a five minute walk to the beach! It was great having access to the yoga hall with the mats and bolsters for our own private practice, as well as being able to join the classes. The kitchen was always clean and well-equipped, and there is free filtered water, tea and coffee all day. We loved being able to use the parasol and chairs from the house for the beach and renting the surfboard - all so convenient. Camila and Pedro were super welcoming and helpful, and Roméo (the gorgeous resident cat) was great company too.

The only very minor drawback was that the double bed was two singles pushed together, so wasn't as comfortable as a normal double.
