It's a Scam! Stay away from this place. The facilities didn't match the listing. There were less beds than informed; the apartment was dirty, smelled like an ashtray, was very small and terribly messy; the suite was not a suite, only a room with a door to a shared bathroom; the brutish host was altered, incoherent and became aggressive when confronted with the inconsistencies. I believe the host and the owner of the apartment are using Booking as a shield to make refunds more difficult and escape liability, potentially coercing people to accept the terrible circumstances. From my discussion with the host it became clear that they provide Booking incorrect information with fraudulent intent. I had to book another place, and gladly found an acceptable alternative. Other people may not be so lucky. It's been several days and I still have no idea if and when I might get a refund. I've contacted Booking's customer service and it is very slow to provide solutions. I've tried through the app and sent emails. So far, I didn't receive any concrete answer (it's been several days).

The host was very nice and gave us good and gave us good advice and the street felt relatively safe. There was full access to the kitchen. The room and bathroom were clean

The bathroom was shared and this wasn’t explicitly stated at the time and the living room is one long one rather than separate rooms. Lacked a chair in the room when we arrived

Owner is a great guy, very helpful with information, friendly and good english

Great location and in a safe area. Host was very welcome and helpful and is always there to give great advice on attractions and how to enhance your stay in rio. A very fair price and so therefore would highly recommend to all others looking to travel to Rio

Owner great helpful u feel like walking into friends house, good adviser. 24 hrs desk, all very secure beautiful building in a great area. Owner japanese origin, very nice personality. Yes I would recommend the property

All! the owner was not nice and all and a BIG liar! AND DID SCAM And very dangerous man THIS PLACE IS A ROOM IN A HOUSE OF THE OWENER TO STAY WITH HIM! there is no info about that and its somting that the all building is knowing about him hes keep doing it all the time . Brazil is very dangerous place and its somtings that we need to know! also! its wirtten that you get wifi and private shower and its was nothing from that. DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!!!

The host Rogerio was a very nice guy. Down to earth and really helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone.
