Farm On The Orchards

We we used the bbq that was about it then we left there was a curtain covering a door I'm guessing into the main house there wasn't even a light in to room so as it was dark when we arrived we just cooked on the bbq and didn't even unpack we didn't feel cufterble so we didn't even end up staying the night and still haven't received a credit or Evan a offer to make it up in a stay

Firm mattress with a variety of pillows. Workable outdoor kitchen. Invisible yet communicative host. A functional, novel, safe, enjoyable rural night away, just as advertised.

Don't expect all the mod-cons of a modern room (thin glass; incomplete blind) or a modern kitchen ... but these equally contribute to the character of a rural escape.

Great being able to have my dogs in the room with me . No tv in the room and a very quiet location , made for quite a relaxing couple of days, pity about the rain .

Shared bathroom

Very quirky farm stay. If you love animals, meeting people and fresh produce you’ll love this place.

Staff were friendly and welcoming and we were included in the evening with them and the workers on the orchard. Enjoyed getting to know them even though we were only there for one night.

No signage to say we had arrived at our destination. Took us awhile to find it. Should be listed as a room in a private home being shared with backpackers. Outside kitchen under verandah was not very clean. Certainly not 4 or 5 star but we still enjoyed our stay. Something different.

Oliva the host was very welcoming, very prompt with responses and infomative. We travelled with a baby and dog and she made sure to greet us when we arrived (even though we were running very late) to settle us into our room. Room was simple but clean with some nice decorative touches, bed was comfy we had a great sleep. Toilet and shower just outside attached to house and was also in a clean state. We didn't use the outdoor kitchen but there was eveything provided even an air fryer. The backyard was a beautiful setting to enjoy our breakfast of peaches, plums and apricots that were provided and Olivia very generously gave us a whole box of fruit from the orchard to take on the road. Our dog loved exploring and making friends with the chooks, cats and their very friendly dog. We had a lovely stay wished it could have been a little longer...

Chooks are nature's alarm so no need to set one on your phone 😄
