Light switches that didn't work. Room a bit small

Nothing to like...a disappointment.

CAST AWAY HOUSE ACCOMMODATIONS in Agnes Water . checked out Monday January 26 at 10 a.m.. ... LOCKED THE DOOR and placed the key in the box outside. ... after locking the door we were at the common area in the porch by the street making preparations to continue our journey. A cleaning woman arrived at 10:10 am. At 10:45 am an alarm was set off somewhere. We assumed it was a car alarm on the street. The cleaning woman came out to the porch and told us that we needed to leave. ... even though we had already checked out and had placed the house keys in the lock box outside on the porch. In terms of hospitality the owners receive "0" in hospitality. Good customer service was less than minimal. We do Not recommend CASTAWAYS for ANY traveler. CASTAWAYS owners need better etiquette and better customer service to their clients. We got the impression that the owners care more about themselves than ANY guest. We rate it a "0" from a scale of "1 to 10". 1-28-2026

Simple and practical

Tv ! Had to watch the footy but no good. Shame others ruin for the rest. Housekeeper was cool , no dramas and very helpful with the surroundings

Das Haus war kein klassisches Hostel, sondern eher ein gemütliches Zuhause mit Doppelzimmern, zwei Bädern und einem großen Gemeinschaftsbereich inklusive Wohnzimmer, Küche, Esstisch, Fernseher und einer schönen Veranda. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, das Bett super bequem und das ganze Haus insgesamt sehr gemütlich. Es war kein Personal vor Ort, was für uns aber völlig in Ordnung war. Die Lage war top.

Einziger Minuspunkt: Der Herd hat anfangs nicht funktioniert, wurde aber am nächsten Tag bereits repariert.
