Very nice stay in a beautiful building and well-designed accomodation. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean, and the small balcony was a great bonus. Excellent location close to pubs and restaurants. The owners were very friendly and welcoming.

Easy self check in, close to the city and a nice room in general. Comfortable bed and a huge new bathroom.

The only thing we would recommend is putting a small a fridge.

Un seul bémol il n'y a pas de climatisation dans la chambre donc nous avons du dormir les fenêtres ouvertes.

Aunque solo pasamos una noche, fue suficiente para sacar conclusiones. El apartamento se encuentra en un edificio antiguo, pero muy bien cuidado. La habitación es amplia, con techos altos y una acogedora zona con mesa y sillas. Los grandes ventanales, típicos de este tipo de construcciones, inundan el espacio de luz natural. Maarten fue un anfitrión excepcional: muy amable y servicial, se ofreció a subirnos las pesadas maletas por la estrecha escalera tanto a la llegada como a la salida. La ubicación es excelente: a apenas 5 minutos a pie del corazón de Amberes, pero lo suficientemente apartado para disfrutar de una tranquilidad absoluta.

Por poner una pequeña pega, eché en falta una televisión en la habitación. No es algo imprescindible, pero habría sido un buen complemento para una estancia perfecta.

Location, old world mixed with new world amenities, and the careful attention of the host. I loved the apartment.

I liked everything. I was initially confused by the smartphone app that is used to unlock three separate doors. And a little worried that my phone might die and I would be stranded outside. However, my phone did not die. And I spoke to the owner about this issue. He provided access to an alternate key, which was very thoughtful. This is more my moving into the 21st century of rented accommodations. Everything worked out well.
