Amazing all round. Michel and his family were fantastic hosts, who couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely breakfast, a well stocked kitchen and some great areas within 5-10 minutes walk. One of the best places we’ve stayed in our 3 months in South America. I can’t recommend highly enough.

The atmosphere is very familiar and relaxing. The story of Michel is super interesting! Very close to both Ipanema and Copacabana beaches! Loving the mango already prepared all the mornings...

Wonderful people and great location

I love the hosts, Zenaida and Michel. They are very helpful and welcoming. I accidentally left my souvenirs and they kindly kept it for me until I came back to retrieve them. Their place is also good value for money.

The place is magic. Situated at 5 minutes from Copacabana beach and 7 minutes from Ipanema beach and 5 minutes from a Metro stop, surrounded by shops, pharmacies, fresh fruits places. Host are amazing nice, extremely accommodating of the decent needs and questions of the guests. I've met other customers there that are coming back for the 2nd and 3rd time. Breakfast is very nice, with fresh bread buns bought every morning by the owner. Food is available at discretion with fast refill if anything finishes. They had the best mango I've tried, nicely cut, every morning. Toaster, eggs, good coffee. Very reliable people, fridge on every floor to keep the drinks cold, water bottles and caipirinha are offered every day by the owner. During a 4 night stay, they have offered to change the bedding and the towels.

Breakfast juice has a cheap juice taste, the brand should be replaced. At night, the room temperature was good enough with the window open, however the AC's turned on from the other rooms were a bit noisy.

Michel is an amazing host!!! We were very welcome and he wait for us at 11pm outside to make sure we got there safely. We stayed there for two nights and we we left he gave us a little souvenir he made himself. I love that place and I would come for sure
