Loved this place, very comfortable beds, bath and shower both available for use, heating , fridge which was very handy. Was able to do some clothes washing which we were so grateful after 6 weeks of travelling.Excellent communication from the hosts as well. Had beautiful mountain views from our balcony .

Very quiet place and welcoming, responsive owner. Clean room spacious and lovely furniture if you like characteristic classic German "Alpenstyl" :)

You definitely need a car to reach it out, and it is a drive from the most "obvious" destinations nearby.

Very kind. I could check in 3 hours before. Big, clean, cosy room with balcony and nice view. Beautiful location. Golf course nearby. Tegernsee within range. Shared fridge available. Separate bath with shower. Bed blanket with down feathers.

Good for business or short term stays. What people who intend to stay longer might need to know: rooms do have thin walls. You might hear sounds from other rooms. Please note that this is not like a standard hotel with a front desk. It is a family owned country house, cosy and authentic. Those Bavarian houses do not have a separate balcony. Instead you share it with the other guests. If you like fresh air and open windows you should know that in such a Bavarian area the houses are heated with wood. A little smoke odor might enter the room for a little amount of time. So, I hope to have given you some valuable insights. Overall, it is a great place and knowing its character might help you with your expectations. On a personal note: I lost my talisman on the first day. It was found by the owner but thrown in the trash because it didn't look valuable or like a kid's toy. It would have been great if they would have a better lost&found policy, where items were kept at least one or two days. On the positive side is their honesty because they told me about it that it has been thrown away. And another positive experience is that I could leave my luggage there after checkout for a couple of hours. Very kind people. And they are famous for their breakfast eggs from happy chickens.

It was beautiful. The house the property were well taken care of. In the last 40 days of vacation, this was the best of all of them! Even over 5 star hotels!

There is nothing!

We were pleased with our two-night stay at the Woidhauserhof. Our room was clean and comfortable; the wifi worked well; a small refigerator was available for our use; and the price was more than reasonable. We did not take breakfast (not included).

-- The hotel is located about 10 km from Bad Toelz, so having a car is probably essential. -- Although we had a dedicated bathroom, it was not en suite.
