I went on a trip from Australia through Sri Lanka, the UK and Iceland to get here but this was the very first part of my journey that I booked before anything else including flights even though I'd never been to Canada before. I could not have been more satisfied with my booking. The location was excellent and the facilities in the room were much more than what I was expecting with the provision of snacks and drinks in the room at no extra cost. Even though I didn't use it this visit, there was also a microwave. Would recommend learning how to use a Keurig as I'd heard of them but never used one, had to look up a video on YouTube. The specific room I had (Number 1) overlooked the driveway so I could look outside and see when my lift arrived each day without having to wait outside in the cold. Also, the room was huge and much bigger than I was expecting and was well heated. I also had no issue with noise. I would also highly recommend not only reading any guest books in the room to see all the past guests who've stayed there with no end of well-deserved effusive praise but also to add your own entry. I found everything about my location that I saw to be really, really nice. Also, please do keep in mind that even though there's a very wide and generous range of arrival times, to arrive during these times as you have to be checked in in person. Communication via the messaging through the booking.com site was very good. Finally, make sure your keys are on your person so you don't accidentally lock yourself out and in my case, I made sure to attach an AirTag to it so I didn't have a similar mishap than what I did in Iceland with a very similar set of keys!

One of the best places I’ve stayed in a long time. Host was friendly, place was clean, packed with everything you need (towels, fridge, microwave, snacks, coffee maker, toiletries). Had tons of character and was in a great location. Cannot beat it for the price. Honestly, you’d be hard pressed to find something comparable for 3 times as much…
