Very traditional style, it feels more like "at the inhabitant's place" than a hostel. Right in the center, close to the train station and to the Coop supermarket (open until 19:00).

The nearby road can be noisy. And warning if you are tall: some doors are like 180 cm high and the ceiling is not much higher.

This hostel is perfect as you have everything you need, everything is very well organized, clean, comfortable and cozy. You have the impression to stay at an Airbnb or friends’ house and don’t want to leave. Location is practical as it’s not far from Zurich with airport and international trains as well as from all the places where the hiking tracks start.

As you may see in other comments the church near by rings the bells quite often and loudly but, it helps you to get up in the morning 😅 and also you can always use the ear plugs which is quite useful in hostels anyway. So wasn’t really a problem for me!

Jessica was super good host taking care of our needs. The place is very conveniently located if travelling by train.

The host is very kind and welcoming. The facilities are very well-equipped and clean. The surrounding area offers much to do.
