Reykjavik Residence Hotel

Lovely little apartment. Very convenient. However, it was a little disconcerting checking in and out online. It was ok but not very friendly.

Breakfast baskets a super idea. The fresh bread delivered to your door handle in the morning was so tasty. Our accommodation in Rm 706 was immaculate, with a very good housekeeping service. We were in The Tannery building which we love, because we were out all day and didn’t need a room with a view. We would use this property again.

Only one person at Your reception desk who was dealing with many other issues. Check in was slow and not friendly!!

We had an excellent experience at this property. Communication was clear, location was great. It was a convenient and a good value. I loved the two beds/2 bath unit for my family of 5 (3 teens) and the unique daily breakfast basket was a highlight.

No parking is a big problem if you have a lot of luggage.We were told by Expedia that we have 35 dollars to spend but we were told that that is not true anymore.Asked for ice at 5 PM and was told that they can bring it at 11 PM.There is no service at all.

Great location, walking distance to bars and restaurants. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Finding parking can be challenging, especially on weekends.

Location was great, rooms nice and loved kitchen to be able to cook. Laundry available for free and breakfast was free as perk and very tasty. Only downside was street construction.

Room was ready early. Walking distance to all amenities. Communication was great!

My partner and I spent a month traveling through Europe, staying in all kinds of places, and I can honestly say that Reykjavik Residence Hotel was our favorite. The apartment we stayed in was excellent—comfortable, quiet, and spotless. It felt practically brand new and was kept in great condition throughout our visit. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of things, with easy access to shops, restaurants, pubs, and the main tourist center. The property felt very safe and had a number of thoughtful amenities, including an environmentally conscious approach that we appreciated. The staff were helpful and kind—Sebastian made check-in a breeze with his welcoming manner, and Miguel went out of his way to offer great suggestions for us to get the most out of Iceland during our brief stay. Highly recommend this place—it made our time in Iceland that much more memorable.
