"An excellent choice for a home from home short stay"

Birchwood Rooms is a homestay I have used in the past. I particularly like the quiet residential location, local amenities (less than 5 minute walk to park and 5 minute drive to Birchwood shopping centre) and use of kitchen facilities. Thomas is an excellent host striking a good balance between being sociable whilst respecting guests needs, and I would highly recommend him

You need to be aware that there are no tea and coffee facilities in the bedrooms, but hot drinks can be made in the kitchen.

Property was easy to find at the bottom of a close. Nice quiet location and quick access to the motorway.

My room didn’t have a lock on the door. This was ok because I was the only guest but it wouldn’t have made me comfortable if there were other guests.
