Charming pink house with perfect location

Very nice room, clean and beautifully decorated. The mattress was a bit stiff, you could feel the springs in it and the night was a bit cold as there was no heating from the radiator. The bathroom was small but very beautiful. Looked like it had been recently renovated. The location is great, with the harbor in walking distance. Linda was very nice, friendly and gave us some tips as for what to do in the town.

The mattress might need replacing in the near future. Other than that everything was really nice.

Being within walking distance to amenities. Cards in the room of local taxi company, resturants etc, Linda was also very informative, fresh towels daily, milk available when needed. Room nice and warm with spare blanket if needed.

Parking can be difficult.

the room was very clean and had all sorts of amenities. Linda was lovely and gave us the friendliest welcome. made us feel extremely welcome and got the room ready for us in no time dispute the very short notice before our arrival. the bathroom is compact but feels really cute and convenient.

The room was a bit smaller than expected, specially for 2 people but was OK for a short stay

Good location if you want to be out of the town centre/sea front, but in easy walking distance. Also easy walking distance to the train station. Nicely decorated room with tv and the owner provided plenty of fresh milk for tea.

There is no breakfast and though the listing does not say there is breakfast, I had searched for b&b and this came up and for the price I assumed that it included breakfast. With no breakfast its pretty expensive for a solo traveller. You are expected to take off your shoes but the carpet was not very clean, though the rest of the room was perfectly clean. The toilet/shower room was ok for me but if you are tall or on the larger side it would be uncomfortable. Throughout the evening I had to listen to a man shouting and swearing at his computer games in the room next door which was not the relaxing evening I had paid over £100 for. Around 11, long after I had planned to be asleep, I asked the landlady to get him to stop as he is a member of the family that lives in the house. He was a bit quieter for a while, though still audible, but by 1am he was loud again. Again I asked for him to be quiet. He carried on playing till after 3. Then he went downstairs to the room below the guest room, still talking to someone, where I could clearly hear him moving around, going to the bathroom etc. I got less than 2 hours sleep. I was completely exhausted and had a course the next day which required concentration. I can see from the reviews that this has not come up before but I would clarify with the owner beforehand that this will not happen again if you are planning to stay here. The owner apologised the next morning but an apology is not enough as this is unacceptable.
