When we arrived the neighbourhood was quiet and the house looked lovely. We entered the property and this is where the problems began: The first thing we noticed was how grotty the carpet was, full of dirt and pet hair, and upon entering the living room we found two (very sweet) kitties. This had not been mentioned and as i am allergic to cats it made my stay even more uncomfortable. The house was tidy but very grubby with dust everywhere, crumbs on the floor. The kitchen was atrocious and we couldn't use it, it was too dirty, the bin was overflowing, even to heat food in the oven would have given us a bug. The highlight was the bathroom which was so clean in comparison to the rest of the house, the water hot, shower and taps worked perfectly. The garden was a mess, overgrown and a little dangerous as the decking was covered in moss/slime and so slippery i nearly cracked my head open walking out. Lastly the bedrooms, i was surprised by the size, which barely fit a double bed, but other than that, nothing to note. We were mostly disappointed as the pillows were flat, and clean towels stained, and overall the room smelt a little funny. But it was obviously cleaned and had fresh(?) bedding. I couldn't have stayed more than one night due to the cleanliness of the property, and the surprise pets, but it did the job for one night.
