Aditya homestay is an absolute gem in Munduk. Putu, the host, is incredibly nice and gave us so many tips on the area, even dropped us off for free at the parking lot of the waterfalls hike, and organized a car for us the next day with the stops we wanted for a very good price. The room was huge, very comfortable, clean, with plenty of hot water, all in all everything you need to feel good in a place. It looks 1000 times better in real life than the photos on Booking so don't trust those, they must be reallyyyyyyy old. The breakfast was also excellent and so was the food in the restaurant - make sure to have lunch or dinner there at least once during your trip! All the staff were extremely nice and I did not expect such a high standard of quality for such a good price. Look no further if you need a place to stay in Munduk!

Nothing bad to note in this homestay, everything was perfect. Just note that Munduk in general (anywhere you stay) is noisy with roosters, dogs, scooters and the prayer broadcasted in the speakers at 6am that is super loud, so bring earplugs!

Very friendly, helpful, nice staff! Very nice welcome drink. The view is amazing so is the breakfast. There is an inhouse restaurant with very good food. The homestay is close to waterfalls. Perfect place for hiking.

There is no wardrobe in the room or not even one hanger for your clothes. The bathroom drain smells bad. It is not the owner’s fault but it is pretty loud, especially in the morning. At 6 am a loud praying song is played, you can hear roosters and dogs making noise as well as cars or motorbikes. Hard to get a proper sleep.

The best homestay that we’ve stayed in throughout Bali with a delicious restaurant! My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and we loved every minute of our stay at this homestay. We debated staying longer but we were on a tight schedule so unfortunately we had to move on. The views of the surrounding valley are unbeatable and the sunset is in the perfect location for photos. There is a large terrace that is open for all to watch the sunset (and I used it for early morning workouts with a view) and the dining area has great views as well. The staff were some of the friendliest people that we have met so far in Bali. They offered suggestions on activities, provided us a hand drawn map for exploring the surrounding area, drove us to the beginning of the waterfall hike for free, and helped us rent a reliable scooter. They really made us feel at home and well taken care of. Our booking was for one of the standard twin rooms, but we were wondering if we had been upgraded because our room was so nice. Since we were a couple that had booked the standard twin room, they gave us an option for the upstairs double room (1 bed) or downstairs twin room (2 beds). We picked the downstairs twin room with the beautiful Balinese doorway entrance (room #10). The room had a double bed plus a twin bed (maybe this is what they consider a standard twin?) and small couch with still plenty of room to walk around and enough space for a home workout as well. There was a sink in this area as well which we liked better than having the sink in the bathroom. The bathroom was also spacious and had a bathtub and shower (I don’t believe a bathtub is standard in all rooms). There was always hot water in the shower and decent water pressure. The WiFi worked really well and we had no problem streaming shows/movies at night. Great value for the room! One of our favorite parts about the stay (other than the amazing staff) was the restaurant at the homestay.

Super friendly and accommodating host. Stunning views from the room and balcony. The room had a fridge and kettle for tea/coffee. Large and comfortable bed. One of the best breakfasts we had while on a road trip around Bali. Close walking distance to good warungs. Would definitely stay again.

The shower was lukewarm at best and a hot shower would have been nice after a long day in the hills. While the room was clean there were still a few ants in the room and even on the bed.

From start to end, this is a real feel-good place. Great view from the eating area and the balconies. The food is good and cheap. I was in the large room 10 with no windows and no balcony, but that was no problem at all, as I could just step outside and enjoy the view. However, the best thing was the staff, who absolutely went out of their way to make the stay as pleasant as possible but without being in your face. They made sure the right drivers arrived at the right time and got the right fee for their services, going round to the great sights nearby. In other words, they were very concerned that I did not pay too much, which I appreciated a lot. I also got a free motorbike ride to the trailhead for the waterfalls. It really felt like home, and there is no doubt I will stay there again if I return to Munduk soon.

The shower was just in front of the toilet, so you had to place a towel on the floor to avoid getting your feet wet. However, it was no problem at all.

Friendly staff helped us a lot, they also organised the tour and taxi for us.
