Rosalina Homestay

Rosalina and Enzo were perfect hosts who connected us to perfect drivers and guides. The atmosphere is laid back and friendly also among the guests

Very nice people and helpful, It was possible to order pancake breakfast at a specific time when you had plans for the day and it was always on time. It was nice to have to shared terrace, to be able to get to know people and share your travel experience.

The room was rather hot. Temperatures drop at night, therefore it's really a pity, that there is no mosquito net in front of your window so that you could simply sleep with an open window during the night. The ventilator is rather loud.

Liked the hot water shower, ensuite, excellent breakfast for small extra cost, share kitchen with fridge, all day tea, coffee and purified water, great views from property and very friendly, kind hosts. Despite the couple of shortcomings think it was good value for money and would stay again.

Needed more bedding as had to layer clothing and wind proof jacket to sleep as nights cold. Lights and noise from main road traffic disturbed sleep. Easily overcome with eye mask & earplugs however. If you come prepared not a problem.

The location is nice in the middle of a rice field. Also the owner is nice

The room was dirty and the furniture and sheets were old and not clean. When you see the photos on booking it looks quite nice but when you arrive at the location and you enter the room you are shocked: the floor is dirty, the sheets look very old and used and with big stains on them, also the walls are stained and dirty. On the shelf above the bed I found a lizard and in the bathroom you cannot close the window. Guess what? In the bathroom I found 2 more lizards and some other bugs. When you enter the bathroom they start running around. In the middle of the bed, right next to the pillow I found a small shit, probably from a lizard. After I laid down in the bed I felt something on my leg. When I looked it was some sort of small bug. There were about 5 or 6 of the moving around. I killed them but I felt uneasy. I should say more but I think it is enough

I loved my spacious room with the big bed and the wonderful view over the rice fields and mountain. The staff were so helpful when I had problems with transport there and full of amazing tips to get to know the area. WiFi was excellent, as I was working a lot. I also thought the location was great, not right in the middle of busy, noisy Rantepao but walking distance from everything. I also rented a scooter from them. And all this at great value. I’d love to come back!

Rosa and Enos are very friendly and helpful hosts. Clean room and nice (shared) terras. Walking distance to shops/ restaurants. We booked a tour with Amos ( through Enos), a very knowledgeable, friendly guide. I would really recommend him. Enos was the driver for the tour and he is a very good chauffeur. We also rented scooters through Enos for 100.000 IDR per scooter per day, and they were very well maintained. It is nice to drive through the area (but you might to get used to the traffic😉). Nearby the homestay (on walking distance) there is a very nice place to have something to eat or drink; Kanaa. The food and coffee is great there and the staff very friendly.

The homestay is next to a very busy road. And the traffic is quite noisy.

Nice simple acomodation, clean and very nice owners. Excellent brekfast.
