Padang Homestay

Very welcoming owner family - making you feel like home. Only 3 rooms, located in a very quiet area, but in easy walking distance to the main road with restaurants and shops. Very well equipped room, free tea and coffee available, hot shower. They organized my transport to the Airport at 5AM and the whole family get up that time to make sure that I will be on time - so kind!!! Very good price for what you get! I would highly recommend this place! Thanks to the family!!!

L’établissement est situé dans une ruelle en direction de l’aéroport, c’est bien pratique pour prendre l’avion tôt le matin. Il s’agit de chambre dans une maison locale. La famille nous a accueilli chaleureusement. La propreté est exceptionnelle. Je recommande chaleureusement ce homestay. Je conseille de réserver bien à l’avance car il y a peu de chambres.

Juste un conseil il n’y a pas de restaurant à proximité. Nous avons choisi de manger dans un restaurant sur les hauteur de Padang pour profiter du coucher de soleil.

It was really cosy and clean and the owner was very friendly.

The mattress wasn’t that comfortable and the close distance to the next mosque let us wake up early.

Very friendly and helpful hosts that truly make you feel like you are at home! The location is great and felt very central for all of our needs. The homestay only has a couple rooms in total, so noise is not a problem and it is very quiet. The sheets and bedding were clean and the AC works very well. There is also covered parking inside the little "compound" for motorbikes.

The bathroom was very smelly and the water pressure was very low in the shower. The bathroom was the only negative of the room and stay in general. There is also no sink in the bathroom, if you want a sink you need to go into the common area. - FYI - There is a very loud call to prayer that happens every morning starting around 3-4AM. I am a very heavy sleeper, but even this woke me up as it is very close by. However, this is not a problem about the homestay, just a FYI for all future travelers.
