Taman Indah Homestay

It was amazingly peaceful and on a quieter street so it was always restful. Bed super comfortable, breakfast has several options, I loved my little porch for sitting, staff was friendly and overall a great value.

Shower was a bit wonky but overall not much to complain about

The property was next to a local Hindu temple. It was beautiful seeing them prepare for an upcoming ceremony. The guests were relaxed and pleasant.

There is no air conditioning so the room gets very hot at night, even with the fan on. The place is overall quite dirty and not well maintained at all. It seems as if they don’t bother cleaning much or repairing things. I saw the kitchen where they prepare the breakfast and it is absolutely disgusting, looks like it has never been cleaned, with old food and dirt all over the stove, bench top and floor. I imagine it would be a playground for rats and cockroaches. There were ants all through my room and I got a bunch on me. The shower drain didn’t work so every time I had a shower I would be ankle deep in the stale shower water from the night before. The bed sheets and pillow’s weren’t cleaned properly and stank a bit. They should also put in some mosquito nets for the doors and gaps in the wall as there are a lot of mosquitos at night. The manager was not particularly pleasant and was often not around, inconveniencing other guests several times while I was there. Last night at 11pm, a guest with a booking arrived only to realise that the manager had given her room to someone else without a booking, so the girl had to go find more accommodation at 11pm at night! The manager didn’t seem to offer her any help. Overall, wouldn’t recommend. From experience, there are plenty of very good places for cheaper in Ubud.

The location is very central yet still quiet. The bed was comfy.

The shower wouldn’t drain at all, there were lots of ants everywhere. Could have been cleaner.

Bedding linen was smelled bad like toxic gem especially pillow. Very very Poor drainage condition.

Homestay is in very quite location, not far from center. The owner is very nice. I have to move a bit earlier than breakfast time and she prepared lunch box for me.

The owner is helpful, clean , and a good smell, serene and quiet.

Very quiet, never had a place this calm in Bali.
