Vanilla Garden

A delightful place to stay, set in rice paddies. Akh Ajidi and his team are lovely people. The hut accommodation was comfortable and clean, with the bonus of a lovely garden terrace with plenty of tables and chairs. Good food on offer here; just as well as Tetebatu village is a very quiet place with just a few shops and no warungs open (in May 2026). Well worth visiting authentic weaving and handicraft businesses locally.

Alle waren extrem nett. Das Essen war sehr lecker und sehr günstig. Einfach und authentisch.

Mit dem Auto nicht erreichbar und etwas versteckt. Der Weg muss immer weiter bis zum Ende gegangen werden.

Loin du centre ville si vous n’avez pas de scooter

As a female solo traveler I have spent 3 amazing days in Vanilla Garden. One of the most beautiful places I have visited, calm, and peaceful! The guests are always there for you, patient, friendly, and welcoming! Shout out to Ojo and Yohan, they have been amazing guides throughout the days. I have learn a lot about their culture, food, work, which was very interesting. The rooms are basic but very comfortable! I highly recommend !

L’emplacement est particulièrement agréable, à proximité de tout, avec une vue magnifique sur les rizières. La cabane ainsi que l’espace pour manger sont très charmants, et la nourriture est excellente tout en restant abordable.

Le tour nous a semblé un peu cher (20€ par personne la journée), surtout que les activités sont gratuites et les repas à notre charge, avec des pourboires demandés à chaque étape. Cela dit, tout était annoncé à l’avance, donc aucune mauvaise surprise. Seule petite gêne lors de la dernière activité, où une personne s’est montrée un peu insistante concernant l’argent. Cela reste indépendant de l’hôtel, bien sûr. Globalement, l’expérience est sympa, mais il est possible de trouver des options moins chères
