Vanilla Garden

Very amazing guest house with lots of greenery (plants, rice fields…). Exceptional staff that accommodated us with a afternoon long trip of the surrounding waterfalls, traditional sarung making visit and bamboo threading. The food on site was great for its price. The room was full of charm and very comfortable.

Access to the property is a bit tricky as you get dropped off at the end of the tiny street and have to walk the rest of the way on some unmarked path. We got lost a couple of times.

Made to feel very welcome by all the staff. Excellent tour of some local attractions with Hadi including scooter rental - highly recommend doing the tour with a guide (even from someone who doesn't normally like this!).

Bed sheets were old and had seen better days.

The location of this homestay is simply wonderful, in between the rice fields and surrounded by trees and nature. The accommodation is simple, but very charming and comfortable. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and does everything to make you feel at home. The diner and the breakfast cooked by the staff was also delicious. One of the staff members, Ema, took me on a daytour to the monkey forest, rice fields, waterfall etc. We had a lot of fun and it felt like touring around with a good friend. He also thought me a lot about the nature and culture in Lombok. Highly recommended!

Le bungalow rustique mais charmant avec la vue sur les rizières, et le beau jardin bien entretenu. L’excursion organisée autour des rizières, des cascades et de la Monkey Forest avec un super guide doté d’excellentes connaissances botaniques.

Loin d’être un resort mais plutôt adapté pour les backpackers. Pas d’eau chaude, restauration limitée et selon les disponibilités du personnel, éloigné de tout donc besoin d’être motorisé.

Un établissement au top ! Avec un personnel incroyable Je recommande à 100% C’était génial ! Merci

The surroundings are beautiful, the room tiny but nice and location very good.

We were not expected to sleep with a rat when we booked. Impossible to sleep with this animal living his life near our clothes and bed. In the morning we discovered that the staff was aware of that but let us move into this room without letting us know. Room 2 if you want to avoid any contact with this animal. Then the tour proposed by Emy.. very nice young guy but there is nothing different than any other tour. Showing you friend’s shop even pointless they are and a spices garden with 2 cocoa trees and nothing else. I put aside all the expenses we needed to pay without being aware of like guide’s meal. Careful to not considered tourist like cash cow

Locatie was schitterend, huisjes waren simpel maar netjes, matras ligt op de grond maar slaapt erg comfortabel, de jongens die er werken zijn heel gastvrij en aardig, savonds maken ze eten voor je en spelen ze gitaar en nemen je overal mee naar toe.

Mart is een super gastvrije, aardige host en heeft ons door heel Tetebatu en omgeving een tour gegeven! Een echte lokale experience die we niet snel zullen vergeten! Je voelt je gelijk thuis bij Mart en zijn familie, we komen zeker terug!

Het is een prachtige omgeving waar alle mensen erg vriendelijk zijn. De uitbaters zijn twee sympathieke mensen die er alles aan zullen doen om je een leuke tijd te bezorgen. Ze stellen tours voor die je samen met hen kan doen. Deze zijn zeker aan te raden! Maar als je liever gewoon even relaxt kan dat ook. Je slaapt in erg charmante hutjes waar je bij het ontwaken kan uitkijken over de rijstvelden. Het eten dat ze er klaarmaken is trouwens erg lekker!

Er viel heel weinig tegen. Je moet er enkel rekening mee houden dat er geen warm water is.
