"Sehr gute Basis für Ijen-Gipfeltouren."

Da es relativ nahe am Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung liegt ist man hier der letzte, der im Auto zusteigt und kann eine Stunde länger schlafen als Leute die weiter unten in der Stadt abgeholt werden. Es gibt hier immer Kaffee und Tee und man kann auch etwas zu Essen bestellen - extrem praktisch, denn im Dorf gibt es nichts.

Die Zufahrt ist etwas heikel - sehr schlechte Wegqualität und relativ weit weg von der Hauptstraße. Im Oktober 2025 wurde der Weg gerade neu gepflastert, er wird wohl in naher Zukunft deutlich besser zu befahren sein. Wer mit dem eigenen Motorroller anreist, sollte trotzdem besser etwas Erfahrung mitbringen und auf jeden Fall noch vor Sonnenuntergang ankommen.

Le personnel sur place était très sympathique, possibilité de manger sur place (riz frit). Au calme au milieu d'une ferme. L'excursion au Kawa Ijen.

Le propriétaire n'est pas particulièrement sympathique... Rien à faire aux alentours si on n'est pas motorisé.
