Jamburae Lodge

Very nice, friendly, relaxed vibe at Jamburae Lodge. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the garden area is beautiful, the breakfast was delicious with good variety of options, and the dinners are fresh and delicious. Lagundri Bay is all about the surf, and this is the perfect place to stay. If you don´t take your own board, they have a decent variety for rental. The best thing is that they have a private a little pier that lets you paddle directly to or back from the break, or there is a keyhole in the reef about a 5 minute walk for a shorter paddle to the lineup. All in all, we loved our stay at Jamburae and highly recommend.

The dinners maybe a little overpriced for Indo standards, but if you want the convenience of eating at the lodge, then definitely worth it for the quality.

Breakfast was excellent and staff were fantastic. Petra really looked after us.

Jamburae was amazing! The hosts Site and Petra, as well as all the staff there were incredibly accommodating and kind. The food was delicious, with such a variety of fresh and healthy dinners. The lodge itself is great, very comfortable beds with aircon and a view of the surf break right from your bedroom. I travelled solo and enjoyed the social side of the lodge, playing pool and pizza nights were heaps of fun. Alternatively, I enjoy my alone time and found there was plenty of space to do my own thing. The waves were world class and so easily accessible from the lodge. Will 100% be coming back. Pool table, ping pong, plenty of shaded board storage, ice cold fridge full of drinks. Big table with a plumeria tree for shade and a perfect view of the wave. Rooms were perfect and spacious. Lots of communal space and chill space. The food was INCREDIBLE, homemade meals every night. WiFi everywhere. What makes this place so special is the owners, Petra and the legend Site made everything so easy for us, from setting up travel and rides to boat trips and flight changes. I have stayed in dozens of surf lodges all over the world and this is by far the best one I have ever been to. Can’t wait to come back 🤙🏽

We arrived in Nias with no expectations, but Site and his team at Jamburae Lodge made our experience truly unforgettable. The food was the best we had in Indonesia, and the warm hospitality was unmatched. The lodge boasts excellent facilities with air conditioning, making our stay super comfortable. We had incredible adventures exploring the waves and immersing ourselves in the local culture. It was the perfect mix of surfing, exploring, and relaxing. We loved Site's passion for preserving his culture, which he combines with modern but sustainable practices, showcasing his great vision for his traditions, culture and conserve his beloved home. A big shout-out to Anton, who made our surf sessions easier and smoother. Jamburae Lodge exceeded all our expectations, and we can't wait to return!

Excellent location and food was amazing.

Host Site and Petra are super friendly and fine the maximum to be at the top. Every thing was perfect. Breakfast lunch and dîner are amazing Good Fish, always some fresh fruits, BBQ and home made pizza made our dîner really great. Ping pong and pool to speed time with a fresh beer after dîner! There is a peer with shower to start and come back surf with trees and amazing view on the spot We took the boat with the crew for a private session on a secret spot Really good quality/price rapport Definitely This lodge is the best of lagundri/the world 🏄‍♂️🤙🏼

Every thing was perfect

Clean, comfortable rooms, nice view.

A lot of karaoke ( might be a plus for others). It is a good place to stay , i expected a bit more for the price we paid.
