Jasmin Villa

I like that when I booked this location I thought I was getting a great location plus cooking classes, but it turns out that Stanley, Jasmin's husband is a tour operator and was able to hook me up with any of the tours or things I was interested in. Their place is close enough to town without dealing with all the touristy foot traffic.

Warm and welcoming. Family owned. Lovely big comfortable room with a good hot shower. Jasmin gives cooking classes which I enjoyed thoroughly. An interesting range of dishes. I picked up some interesting tips from her. They also arrange tours and excursions if desired. Would recommend

We stayed at Jasmine Villa for one night. Experience was great — nice room with everything we needed inside: comfortable bed, ac, fan, nice shower with plenty of hot water. Hosts were very welcoming and friendly. Stanley helped us understand how the railways work in India (with tickets bookings and staff). Jasmine’s homemade breakfast was awesome (especially coconut chutney). The pace has nice atmosphere and cute garden.

Just spent 3 nights at Jasmin Villa. Stanley and Jasmin are wonderful hosts who made our stay in Kochi very memorable. Our room was lovely with a very comfortable bed , great facilities and fabulous breakfasts. .Jasmin is a fantastic cook and our 2 evening meals were delicious made special by Jasmin explaining how she made each dish. Thanks also to Pandia for all his care of us. And a massive thanks to Stanley who also runs a travel agency and organised our taxi from the airport thank you Mr Anwar and our taxi to Munnar thank you Firoz. We also did the day backwater tour with Stanley which takes you punting on tranquil backwater rivers and canals in a traditional boat. you can really enjoy a truly peaceful view of nature and village life. The trip also visits a home to see traditional coir making and weaving . We would definitely recommend a stay with Stanley and Jasmin at Jasmin Villa

Stanley and Jasmin were the perfect hosts. The food was excellent and plentiful. We enjoyed a wonderful cooking class with Jasmin. Stanley couldn't have helped us more to explore Kerala and how to get around. We also enjoyed a backwater boat trip, which we highly recommend and gave us good insight into environmentally friendly tourism. The room was comfortable, had A/C, and was very clean. We enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra night making it 4 nights altogether. There is so much to see and do in Kochi. We would definitely come again and stay at Jasmin Villas. Great stay and start to our Indian adventure.

The man who served meals and carried bags etc was very helpful.

Wasn't as welcoming as other reviewers stated, disappointing in that regard.

Good breakfast, nice to have fruit. The bathroom was lovely and the aircon worked well. The garden was decorated well.

Stanley’s check-in was non existent, we didn’t get told the process of ordering dinner, what the WiFi was, how to get water. Communication was strange throughout, but got a bit better when Jasmine got back. Not much around the property so needed to get tuk tuks for food.
