Venitia Homestay

We are so happy we found this place in Alleppey and stayed in home of this wonderful family! I booked the room for just one night, but we liked everything so much that we extended our stay for more 10 days. The atmosphere here is very warm and pleasant, the people are kind and welcoming! We became very close during this time and truly felt like part of the family. We also got to know more about the local culture and traditions, and even celebrated Easter together. I’m very grateful to Francis and Jeeja for their hospitality and the delicious breakfasts — you can feel the love and care in every dish. This is now a special place for us, a place we would love to return to! The rooms are also very nice — clean, comfortable, there is a balcony and terrace in the house. The location is also great. Only 3-minute walk to the beach. There’s also a fantastic restaurant nearby — “Viggy’s Sea-side Resto”. We really enjoyed it.

I liked the location, just a bit outside the main Alleppey beach area, nice local vibe, clean and colorful area. Family was very kind and room was good. We enjoyed our one night stay here, thank you for having us :)

One of my favorite homestays ever. The family is amazing—they’ll take great care of you and treat you like one of their own. The beach is right next door, and you can watch beautiful sunsets there. I can 100% recommend this place.

We LOVED Venitia Homestay - we really felt super comfortable and welcome! The breakfast was AMAZING! So so yummy! The room was very spacious and AC worked really well!

Its very conveniently located - few steps from the beach. And you feel like at home. Hosts are very nice - and really helpful - treating you as part of family - helped me organize my bus ticket, and made me a local dessert that I couldn’t find in any restaurant, and we spent evening chatting on a terrace. Really like home away from home - thank you ♥️

Good breakfast, near to see

Very friendly hosts. Mary is an excellent cook and prepares a great breakfast and on request authentic keralan veg and non veg seafood. Francis can help arrange backwater boat trips from Alleppey and taxis. Marari beach is better and not too far for a day trip from the homestay.

There are no sunbeds or shade available at the local beach other than in the Catarmaran Cafe which is a great local eaterie. Extra charge for use of AC.

Really nice room at a convenient location close to the coast, town and backwaters. Francis and Dooja were fabulous hosts, helping us book everything we needed.

Francis and his wife were very friendly and helpful. Francis told me about a direct bus to the airport rather then having to break the journey in Kochi. Very clean and spacious room with outdoor spaces too.
