A little away from the mentally crowded market and city. Redeem has a great view to offer with decent food and service. A Homestay that offer a working kitchen and hot water 24x7. You can go for quick strolls around Dal lake and Naddi point (a short hike). Book without any worries if you are a family with many members elders, infants or kids.

This is one place I can come and stay again with my family for two reasons - good hosts and food. Dhundhup is an excellent person highly accommodating, helpful and sweet. His staff people are helpful, happy and hard workers. Food is too good, except Thupka and milk tea. My family enjoyed his non-veg cuisines. I enjoyed the veg thali. Food is also reasonably priced. Rooms are fairly spacious, with all gadgets (microwave, induction plate, gysrer etc). The open ground floor terrace and inside the hall at the ground floor are a good time pass. The valley view from terrace is soothing and peaceful. Guests who normally visit are decent people. Location is ok ok. Aesthetically designed and painted exterior and interior. Even Dos and Don'ts written on the toilet door are funny. Good value for money.

To access first floor rooms there is no direct staircase from the hotel. You have to come out of the hotel and then climb stairs for the first floor. At night the ground floor is locked from inside and on the first floor there is no safety. Anybody can access the first floor. Even the staff is not responsive till 8:30 AM. Power backup is poor. Can hardly be used for the phone charging only. THEY DON'T ACCEPT CREDIT CARD. ONLY CASH OR G-PAY, Paytm ETC.
