Fort William loft on shore front with amazing views

I did not realise that Booking.com listed/brokered rooms in people’s homes -other than the traditional B&B arrangements. So this was a bit of a surprise, and possibly not one we would have knowingly chosen. However, Suzanne and Dougie were both welcoming and engaging hosts. The room was clean and comfortable, and I am very grateful for the early check-in I asked following a medical incident the day before. Thank you so much S&D.

Location great, comfy bed, great hosts. Breakfast items included were a nice surprise. Nice meeting Bells the fog and the cat ! Nearby pub The Lothy 15 min walk nice food and staff friendly.

Wasn’t sure about having to go through hosts home to get to loft but for one night was ok they are happy for you to come and go as you please very friendly and room it worth it.

Op de zolder in het huis van iemand anders verblijven, terwijl die thuis is. Het blijft wel wennen. De kamer was ruim, het uitzicht (vanuit het zolderraam) ronduit fantastisch. Als je veel op pad bent, is dit een prima uitvalsplek. Wat lief dat er melk voor de pap en sinaasappelsap klaar stond in de koelkast.

Lieve eigenaars, maar je zit wel bij iemand 'in huis'.

We had such a good time in this lakeside loft. The house is right by the lake, just a few minutes by car from a supermarket and a pub. Our host Susan was the best! She gave us a lot of recommendations for our evening. The room is spacious, with all the amenities. Coffee and tea are available in the room as well as some cereal and milk. I would totally stay here again!
