Darta House

Communication with owner was great, he is very dedicated to make his host feeling comfortable. Beautiful garden, Central location close to the main Ubud attractions , Rooms and bathrooms were clean, Aircon working good and breakfast was perfect to start the day nice and light. One of the nights we stayed my partner got Food poisoned in a restaurant and we had to go to emergency at 2am, Darta(owner) quickly took us to the nearest hospital and stayed with us until she felt better. I can’t be more grateful with him and his beautiful family. I would definitely recommend to stay on his place.

Great location, easy to get to. Unique place

Property was good. The shower and bathroom was pretty average. No hot water and the shower head had split open so when we turned the shower on it was just a big dribble of cold water

The location, close to Monkey Forest

The location was good, pretty garden, owners seemed kind and helpful. Breakfast was repetitive but a nice touch.

Mold on the walls and bed, started having respiratory issues and trouble breathing. Sheets were dirty and had white dried gunk on them, black hairs everywhere (I’m blonde) ANTS EVERYWHERE! Completely infested my backpack even though I kept no food in it. I had to wash my bag and leave in the middle of the night with my things in shopping bags because they were infesting all of my belongings. Was told payment was on check out which I’ve never experienced and was a shock when trying to leave late at night and was concerned I was being double charged since I assumed I’d be charged online when no payment was requested on check in.

The owners, the way of have a business, the respect for the customers. Great hosting.

Loved the host who came and got us late at night and checked us in. He was so lovely and friendly.

Bathroom needs much work. Breakfast could be alternated. Reaching and communicating with owners was difficult.
