Keralan Homestay

Arsha and Baijou are very welcoming hosts. They proposed us various activities: a morning on the boat in the canal, a ayurvédique massage, the discovery of the light house, a visit of a temple, the discovery of the catamaran coffee, ... The breakfast and the dinner are delicious. The accommodation is clean, quiet, there is everything you need. During our stay I was injured and had to go to the hospital for treatment. Baijou helped me a lot that day. Baijou and Arsha are two wonderful people who have a heart on their sleeve and will always be ready to help you with whatever you need. I highly recommend this establishment for its quality/price, for the warm welcome of the hosts and their helpers, for all the activities they offer and for the desire of Baijou and Arsha to help you discover a new culture.

Very clean room, good location by the backwaters. Name is very well choosen as you feel at home as soon as you arrive thanks to Arsha's smile and great sense of humour...

Arsha and Biju, the owners, were so welcoming and so friendly and we had lots of good chats with them! Biju showed us around the town and to some shops. they helped us organise tuk tuks and a boat tour of the backwaters the evening we arrived for the next morning and gave us good recommendations for eating out. The property is beautiful and very clean and beds are comfortable. I would recommend to anyone staying in Alleppey and would definitely stay again! Thank you Arsha and Biju for enriching our stay in Alleppey!

only downside is we only stayed one night, we wished we could stay longer in Alleppey but didn’t have time!

Great location close to the backwaters, great friendly host who organised our back water tour and was so helpful with pickup and drop offs. Anything we needed he was able to help us with with perfect english. Comfy bed in guesthouse just one street back from the backwaters so close enough to walk and perfect for a budget. We only stayed one night on backwaters due to weather but would have stayed longer if not.

there was a lot of mosquitos in the room but I guess this was maybe the time of year we were there. We were okay sleeping with mosquito spray on but would maybe recommend a mosquito net.

Spacious room, super clean, all facilities mentioned were operational. The owners were absolutely lovely, very friendly and helpful. Great location close to many boat rentals for the backwaters.

Not a lot of restaurants within walking distance but lots of options a short ride away.

Feeling absolutely homely. Property is very good and I do recommend many to plan 2 days visit to Alleppy to explore Kerala culture. Tea was served good. Memorable stay.
