Nubian Kingdom Aragheed House

We stayed for 2 nights, then came back for 2 more, then because of some cruise issue, another 2 more nights, didn’t even think about moving, Bassam managed to save us by pulling some strings and got us on a night cruise which was precious because of new year. Breakfast every morning, sufficient hot water, helpful staff, Nubian coffee and music nights, definitely one of the places I’m going to miss the most in Egypt!

Beautiful, welcoming, attracts interesting guests. Bassem is very inviting and helpful. Really nice to live in the Nubian village across the Nile from Aswan proper. Ferry is very easy to access and negotiate. One of our favorite places we've ever stayed.

La struttura è pulita, i bagni sono in comune ma sono talmente tanti che è come averli privati e soprattutto sono pulitissimi. Colazione locale abbondante e possibilità di fare anche cena in modo conviviale con gli altri ospiti: più che una guest house una casa in cui si vive con altri ospiti. Il proprietario è gentilissimo e sempre disponibile a rispondere a qualsiasi dubbio. L’unica nota negativa è che si trova sulla sponda occidentale del fiume, cosa che si supera senza problemi a qualsiasi ora con un traghetto che fa spola continua partendo dal lungo Nilo in corrispondenza della stazione ferroviaria (0€80). Possibilità di organizzare tour, peccato non averlo saputo prima altrimenti ci saremmo rivolti qui per Abu Simbel.

The property was amazing to stay at. The location is inside a village and very well maintained. Cannot speak enough about Bassam , the host. He is an amazing person and very helpful.. The food was incredible . Definitely recommend it for everyone.

Increible lugar, si quieres conocer más sobre la cultura nubia y sobre Egipto, este es el lugar, la atención del dueño Bassam hace de tu viaje una hermosa experiencia, su humildad y sencillez te dan confianza para poder relajarte. En el lugar te ofrecen compartir un café con música en vivo durante las noches, las habitaciones cuentan con aire acondicionado y ventilador, son silenciosas, además Bassam puede ayudarte con cualquier tour que necesites a un precio justo y con mucha seguridad, nos llevó a conocer el templo Philae y nos mostró el lugar original. El hotel queda justo al frente de la tumba de los nobles, si te interesa la cultura y la arqueología es ideal para iniciarte. Nos fuimos muy contentos con mi marido, esperamos volver a ver a nuestro querido amigo.

The location and the staff were amazing. Bessemer was a great guy ,he helped me out a lot. I'll be back again
